Generating 240 seconds of raw AI video, one take per shot, costs from about $20 a month (Google Flow, Veo 3.1 Fast with native audio) to $80 a month (Invideo, Seedance 2.0 Fast), with Kling, Runway, Luma, LTX Studio, Higgsfield and Pika in between at $30 to $49. Those figures buy clips only: no screenplay, no consistent cast, no narration, no music, no edit, and no retakes, which typically multiply video cost by 2 to 4. Estimated from our published per-operation prices, a finished four-minute story film on Yeşilçam's Pro plan costs $33.99 at Draft, $44.83 at Standard, $58.88 at Cinema and $151.28 at Cinema Pro, and that includes the screenplay, cast sheets, keyframes, video, narration, music and assembly. For raw video alone, Google Flow, Luma and Kling are cheaper than our Draft film, and Runway, LTX Studio and Pika cost about the same.
At a glance
All competitor rows assume 30 clips of 8 seconds (240 s), one take each, on the cheapest plan whose monthly credits cover them, using each vendor's published credit rates as seen on 2026-09-26.

How the numbers are worked out
Each platform sells credits, and each model costs a set number of credits per second or per clip. The arithmetic is credits per clip or per second, times the length, compared against each plan's monthly allowance.
- Google Flow: a Veo 3.1 Fast clip is 20 credits for 4, 6 or 8 seconds, so 30 clips are 600 credits. Google AI Pro gives 1,000 a month plus 50 a day. Veo 3.1 Quality (100 credits a clip) needs 3,000 and Google AI Ultra at $99.99.
- Kling: 1080p with native audio is 12 credits a second; Pro's 3,000 credits cover 2,880 with no room for a retake. Native 4K at 30 a second needs 7,200 credits and Premier at $80.96.
- Luma: Ray3.2 720p is 100 credits per 5 seconds, 20 a second, and has no native audio.
- Runway: Gen-4 Turbo is 6 credits a second. Gen-4.5 at 12 a second needs 2,880, more than Pro's 2,250, so Max at $95.
- Higgsfield: an 8-second Kling 3.0 720p clip is about 14 credits, so 420 in total; Starter's 200 do not cover it, so Plus.
- Pika: Wan 3.0 720p is 33 credits per 5 seconds; scaling linearly (not verified) gives 1,584. Starter at $10 has no commercial licence, so Creator.
- LTX Studio: the LTX-2.5 Fast rate comes from a third party and is not verified.
- Invideo: Seedance 2.0 Fast is about 30 credits per 5 seconds. Pro's 1,000 credits fall short, so Ultra.
Hailuo (MiniMax), Krea and Kaiber are left out because their per-second rates were not published in a form we could verify. Sora is left out because it has been discontinued.
What these prices do not include
The competitor figures are for raw video only, and they assume every clip works the first time. A four-minute film also needs a script or shot list, keyframe images to hold characters steady (for example, 30 images on Nano Banana Pro cost 60 credits on Higgsfield), narration or dialogue where the model has no native audio (Luma Ray, Runway Gen-4 Turbo, Wan), music, lip sync, and the edit. On Google Flow a reviewer notes you cannot upload your own music or voiceover. LTX Studio and Invideo include a timeline in the plan; with the others you may need a separate editor.
Retakes: the real multiplier
Reviewers, and LTX's own cost guide, stress that the number of attempts per shot drives cost more than the list price. Allow two to four takes per shot. At two takes, the plans change like this:
- Kling 1080p with audio: 2 × 2,880 = 5,760 credits, more than Pro's 3,000, so Premier at $80.96.
- Google Flow Veo 3.1 Fast: 2 × 600 = 1,200 credits, which still fits Pro. Even four takes (2,400) fit only if you spend the daily credits every day of the month (1,000 + 30 × 50 = 2,500); otherwise the step up is Google AI Ultra at $99.99 or top-ups.
- Runway Gen-4 Turbo: 2 × 1,440 = 2,880, more than Pro's 2,250, so Max at $95.
- Luma Ray3.2 720p: 2 × 4,800 = 9,600, still inside Plus; three takes (14,400) need Pro at $90.
- Higgsfield Kling 3.0 720p: 2 × 420 = 840, inside Plus; three takes (1,260) need Ultra at $129.
Reviewers of Luma, Invideo and Google Flow also report credits consumed by failed generations. In Yeşilçam, failed jobs are refunded to the wallet automatically. Scenes you choose to regenerate are charged again, one scene at a time: on the Pro plan a 10-second Draft clip is $1.29, a 10-second Standard clip $1.74, an 8-second Cinema clip $1.85 and an 8-second Cinema Pro clip $4.93. Re-rolling ten Cinema scenes therefore adds about 10 × $1.85 = $18.50 in video.
Yeşilçam's all-in estimate per tier
These figures are estimated from our published per-operation prices for a four-minute anime story with automatic scenes and music on, with 32 scenes at Draft and Standard and 40 at Cinema and Cinema Pro. The dollar figures are the value of the tokens used.
| Tier | Tokens on Pro | Pro plan | Pro plus Power Pack | Basic plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Draft | 5,150,391 | $33.99 | $25.47 | $38.63 |
| Standard | 6,793,047 | $44.83 | $33.59 | $50.95 |
| Cinema | 8,921,657 | $58.88 | $44.11 | $66.91 |
| Cinema Pro | 22,921,657 | $151.28 | $113.33 | $171.91 |
The Pro figure is tokens × $6.60 per million (a $99 month buys 15 million tokens, and Pro multiplies every operation by 0.8). The Basic figure is tokens ÷ 0.8 × $6.00 per million. The estimate includes the screenplay, five cast sheets, keyframes, video, narration, music and assembly; lip sync on dialogue lines is extra, at 29,167 base tokens per line. As a monthly plan, a Draft film (5,150,391 ÷ 0.8 = 6,437,989 tokens at Basic rates) does not fit inside one $30 Basic month of 5 million tokens; it needs Basic plus a pack, or the Pro plan. A Pro month covers about 2.9 Draft films, 2.2 Standard or 1.7 Cinema films of this length. The Ready screen shows a price for the scenes the director actually wrote before you pay for video.
Where the other platforms are cheaper or better
For four minutes of raw video, Google Flow ($19.99), Luma ($30) and Kling ($32.56) cost less than Yeşilçam's $33.99 Draft film, and Runway, LTX Studio and Pika ($35) cost about the same; Flow and Kling also include native audio. Kling offers native 4K, Luma HDR and EXR, and Higgsfield and Pika clips of up to 30 seconds, against 4 to 10 seconds per Yeşilçam scene.
Where Yeşilçam is better value
The Yeşilçam figure is the whole film, not the video line. It covers the screenplay and cast before any clip, a keyframe for every scene with a character, narration in the story's language, character voices, music ducked under speech, and the edit into one MP4. The price is shown before production, failed jobs are refunded automatically, and only the scenes you change are charged again.
Who should choose which
- Cheapest raw clips with sound: Google Flow, then Kling.
- A finished film with no editing: Yeşilçam Story to film at Draft or Standard.
- Your own edit on a built-in timeline: LTX Studio or Invideo.
- Top-end footage for post-production: Luma (HDR, EXR) or Kling (native 4K).
Frequently asked
What is the cheapest way to make a 4-minute AI film? For raw clips, Google Flow: 30 Veo 3.1 Fast clips are 600 credits on the $19.99 Google AI Pro plan. For a finished film with voices and music, Yeşilçam's Draft tier is $33.99 of tokens on Pro ($38.63 at Basic rates); that is more than one $30 Basic month covers, so it needs Basic plus a pack, or the Pro plan.
Why budget two to four times the list price? Most shots need more than one attempt. At two takes, Kling moves from Pro to Premier ($80.96) and Runway from Pro to Max ($95).
Does Yeşilçam charge for failed clips? No. Anything that fails on our side is refunded to the wallet. Scenes you choose to regenerate are charged again.
Is lip sync included in Yeşilçam's estimate? No. It is charged per spoken line, 29,167 base tokens each, before the plan multiplier.
