How each works
Yeşilçam Studios: in Story to film you paste a finished text and make four choices: story, one of eight visual styles, length and quality tier. The director writes the screenplay and cast. Each of up to five characters gets a sheet in your style, and only the screenplay and sheets are charged at that point. The film waits on the Ready screen with its exact production price, where you can edit prompts, lines, durations and scenes. After you confirm, each scene with a character is rendered as a keyframe from the sheets and then animated, narration and dialogue are recorded, music is generated, and everything is mixed into one MP4. A four-minute story becomes around 30 to 40 scenes. For a cheap explainer rather than a character film, Inkmation makes brush-drawn animated pieces with narration and music.
Pika: since its relaunch Pika is a set of apps for video, image and audio that route to third-party and Pika models. The Short Film app turns a premise into a multi-shot film, generation runs "from a short clip to a 30-second multi-shot" piece, and another app turns a topic or script into a two-host episode. Character Creator saves a character for reuse. Audio apps cover speech, music, soundtracks scored to a clip, sound effects and talking avatars. A third-party source mentions 3-minute multi-shot clips in Video Studio; we could not verify it.
Pricing: a 4-minute film
The Pika figures are for raw video only, assume every clip works first time and assume the per-second price scales linearly beyond 5 seconds. Budget two to four times as much for retakes and add voices and music.
- Wan 3.0 at 720p: 33 credits per 5 s × 48 clips = 1,584 credits. Starter's 900 credits are not enough and it has no commercial licence, so the plan is Creator at $35 ($28 annually). Credits used are worth 1,584 × ($35 / 3,150) = $17.60.
- Seedance 2.5 at 720p: 122 credits per 5 s × 48 = 5,856 credits, so Fancy at $95 ($76 annually). Credit value used about $65.07. Buying the same credits as top-ups at 60 per $1 would cost about $97.60.
- Yeşilçam, all-in: a 4-minute anime film with automatic scenes and music, estimated from our published per-operation prices: Draft $33.99, Standard $44.83, Cinema $58.88, Cinema Pro $151.28 on Pro. With a Power Pack: $25.47 / $33.59 / $44.11 / $113.33. On Basic: $38.63 / $50.95 / $66.91 / $171.91. A Draft film needs about 6.44M tokens on Basic, more than one $30 Basic month's 5M, so it takes Basic plus a token pack. Lip sync is extra.
Per raw second, Pika with Wan 3.0 (about $0.073 a second on Creator) is cheaper than our Draft tier ($0.129 a second on Pro). For the whole film, Pika's Wan 3.0 raw video ($17.60) costs about half our Draft estimate on Pro. Pika with Seedance 2.5 (about $65.07 for the film) costs more than our Draft, Standard or Cinema estimate on Pro, and our figure also covers screenplay, cast sheets, keyframes, narration, music and assembly.

Pika gives you model choice in one account, including Seedance 2.5, MiniMax H3 and Wan 3.0, and a single generation can run to 30 seconds with several shots. Its audio range is wide: speech, music, sound effects, soundtracks scored to picture and talking avatars, with one voice localised across 29 languages. Nothing carries a watermark, not even on the free plan. Reviewers credit its stylisation and effects such as Pikaframes and Pikaffects. For short social clips and quick experiments it is a flexible toolbox.
Where Yeşilçam is better
Yeşilçam is built for films longer than a clip. It reads a whole story, keeps the events and dialogue as written, casts up to five characters with sheets and keyframes, and delivers an edited film with narration, voices and music. The exact production price is shown before production starts, and failed jobs are refunded automatically; we found no refund policy on Pika's pages. Characters and bibles are reused across films. The interface comes in six languages; none of the competitor pages we checked listed a Turkish interface. The CLI and MCP server let a script or Claude run the studios, and the same wallet covers Inkmation, Fashion Try-On and Maket.
