How each works
Yeşilçam Studios: in Story to film you paste a finished text, pick one of eight visual styles, a length and a quality tier. The director writes a screenplay with a logline, style guide, cast, music brief and scenes. Each cast member, up to five, gets a character sheet in your style. Only the screenplay and the sheets are charged at this point. The film then waits on the Ready screen with the exact production price, and you can rewrite prompts, edit spoken lines, change durations or remove scenes. After you confirm, every scene with a character gets a keyframe from the sheets, the keyframe is animated, narration and dialogue are recorded, and clips, voices and music are mixed into one MP4. You can regenerate a single scene later and only that scene is charged. For manual control, Flow Studio and the Cinema Studio timeline cover the same stages step by step.
LTX Studio: you upload a script and LTX generates scenes and storyboards. You then generate each shot, choosing from in-house LTX-2.x models and partner models such as Kling, Seedance and, on Pro, Veo 3.1. Elements keep characters, objects and locations consistent. Shots run 3 to 20 seconds and are combined on a Timeline. LTX also has a Pitch Deck generator, Flows for node-based automation and collaborators on Pro.
Pricing: a 4-minute film
The LTX figures below are for raw video only and assume every clip works first time. LTX's own cost guide says iteration rate drives cost; budget two to four times as much for retakes. Keyframe images, voices and music are extra.
- LTX-2.5 Fast at 1080p: 4 credits per second (a third-party figure) × 240 s = 960 credits. That fits Lite's 8,000 credits ($15), but commercial use starts on Standard ($35).
- Veo 3.1 Lite at 1080p with audio: up to 100 credits per second × 240 = 24,000 credits. Veo is a Pro model, so the plan is Pro at $125 a month ($100 annually). The credits used are worth about 24,000 × ($125 / 110,000) = $27.27.
- LTX API: LTX-2.5 at $0.09 per second at 720p is 240 × $0.09 = $21.60; at $0.15 per second at 1080p it is $36.
- Yeşilçam, all-in: a 4-minute anime film with automatic scenes and music, estimated from our published per-operation prices: Draft (32 scenes) $33.99, Standard $44.83, Cinema (40 scenes) $58.88, Cinema Pro $151.28 on the Pro plan. With a Power Pack: $25.47 / $33.59 / $44.11 / $113.33. On Basic: $38.63 / $50.95 / $66.91 / $171.91. A Draft film uses about 6.44M tokens on Basic, more than the 5M in one $30 Basic month, so it needs Basic plus a token pack. One Pro month (15M tokens) covers about 2.9 Draft, 2.2 Standard or 1.7 Cinema films of this length. Lip sync is extra at 29,167 base tokens per line.
Per raw second of video, LTX-2.5 is cheaper than any Yeşilçam tier. The Yeşilçam figure pays for the screenplay, cast, keyframes, narration, music and edit as well.
Where LTX Studio is better
Raw video costs less, especially with LTX's own models, and the API is a real option for developers. LTX outputs up to 4K and single shots can run to 20 seconds, twice our longest clip. You can pick the model per shot, including Veo 3.1 with native audio on Pro. The LTX-2.x weights are open, Enterprise offers custom model training, and Pro includes collaborators. If you want to direct each shot on a timeline, LTX is built for that.
Where Yeşilçam is better
Yeşilçam does more of the film for you. From four choices it writes the screenplay, designs the cast, voices narration and dialogue in the story's language, generates music and delivers an edited MP4. You see the exact production price before anything beyond the screenplay and sheets is charged. Failed jobs are refunded automatically; we found no such policy on LTX's pages. Characters stay yours and can be reused in other films at no extra sheet cost. The interface comes in six languages, including Turkish. The same wallet also covers Inkmation, Fashion Try-On and Maket. The CLI and MCP server let Claude or a script run the studios. Reviewers have also rated LTX's raw video quality below its competitors and said complex multi-person scenes need rework.

Every LTX raw-video figure above is lower than Yeşilçam's all-in Draft estimate of $33.99 on Pro, though Veo 3.1 Lite requires the $125 Pro plan. The Yeşilçam figure is for a finished 4-minute film: screenplay, cast sheets, keyframes, narration, music and assembly, not raw video alone.
Can both keep characters consistent? Yes. LTX uses Elements; Yeşilçam uses cast sheets and character bibles, and builds a keyframe from them before animating each scene.
Which one outputs 4K? LTX Studio lists up to 4K. Yeşilçam's Cinema Studio renders the assembled timeline at 720p, 1080p or 4K; we do not publish native clip resolution.
What happens when a generation fails? Yeşilçam refunds it to the wallet automatically. We found no refund policy for failed generations on LTX's pages.
