Cafés and restaurants need a steady stream of short videos, and the people who run them rarely have time to film. An AI influencer can be your regular presenter: the same friendly face every week, introducing the special, sharing a tip, inviting people in. Here are five ideas you can make in AI Influencer Studio, and a few rules to keep it honest.
Start with the right character
Create one influencer who fits your place: a relaxed barista type for a specialty café, a warm host for a family restaurant. Give it a few outfits that match your style and, if you like, a location image that feels like your venue. Choose the voice and language your guests speak; the character keeps them for every video.
Five ideas
1. The dish of the week
Use the "Food & drink" scenes (Cooking, Pour & plate, Taste test, Café moment) with your own dish photo as the product image, and a 10-second voice-over: name, two ingredients, the day it is on. Done in minutes, every week.
2. One coffee tip, every Monday
A talking video of 15 to 20 seconds: how to store beans, why grind size matters, how to order a flat white. Tips build trust and give people a reason to follow you, not just to buy.
3. A one-minute menu tour
In the Long video tab, add up to four product images (your best dishes or drinks) and choose "Talking + cutaways". Sam plans a short tour: a talking welcome, product shots of each dish with narration, a talking close with your opening hours on the end card.
4. The myth buster
"Does espresso have more caffeine than filter coffee?" A True or false pattern answers a common belief with sources. This works especially well as an automation (below).
5. Behind the counter, reimagined
Recreate one of our templates, such as a pour or a plating move, with your character. It gives your feed movement without filming your kitchen.
Let it run: a weekly automation
Set up an influencer automation with the industry "coffee" or "Mediterranean food", a fixed weekday and time, 30-second videos and a guideline such as "One practical tip or myth about coffee each week, checked against at least two sources; end by inviting people to visit." Keep "Show me first" on: each week you approve the script and storyboard before the video is made. Add your café name and address link in the brand details for the closing call to action. The automation guide has the details.
Keep it honest
- Only show dishes you actually serve. Use your own photos as product images, so the dish in the video is based on your real plate. When a photo must appear unchanged, add it as a screenshot in a long video: Screen shots show the image exactly, with a slow zoom.
- Do not present the influencer as a real customer or a real member of staff. It is your presenter, and many platforms ask creators to label realistic AI-generated content; check the rules of the platform you post on.
- Keep prices and allergen information in the caption or on screen from your own text, not improvised in speech.
What does it cost?
A 5-second Draft scene with your dish costs 98,001 tokens on Pro, plus the voice-over per 100 characters. A weekly 30-second automation is shown as an estimate per video and per month before you start, and the monthly cap keeps it there. See the pricing page for current numbers.
Frequently asked
Can the influencer speak two languages for tourists? A character has one saved language, but you can create a second character (or a variant) with another language and voice, and use each for its own audience.
Can it show my real venue? Use your own photos in product shots or as a location image. Generated scenes are new images, not your actual room, so do not present them as photos of your venue.
Do I need a plan? Short scenes and talking videos work on every plan with tokens. Automation, longer videos and Premium need Basic or Pro.
