Influencer automation lets you give your industry, and if you like a guideline, and leave the rest to Sam: Sam picks a new topic each time, researches it, writes the script and storyboard with sources, your AI influencer makes the video and it is delivered to you. It runs in AI Influencer Studio on Basic and Pro. The automation itself is free; only the work it produces (research, storyboard, images and video) uses tokens.
Before you begin
- A Basic or Pro plan. Automations cannot be set up on Free, and they pause if a plan ends.
- A character with its voice and language set. Every video uses the same influencer.
- Optional: your brand details, product images and screenshots.
Open /app/influencer/auto and choose "New automation". You can have up to 10 automations.
Step 1: Influencer
Choose the influencer or library character. The same character appears and speaks in every video, in the voice and language saved with it. Give the automation a name, for example "Weekly tech"; the name also labels its videos in your library.
Step 2: Topic and brand
Industry or topic is the only required field, for example "technology", "coffee" or "home decoration". Sam picks a new topic in this area each time and does not repeat topics it has already covered.
Brand details are optional: company, product or service, target audience, call to action and link. Fill them in if the videos are for your brand; they are used for the closing call to action and link.
Guideline is optional and is where automation becomes yours. Describe the path Sam should follow, for example "Each video, pick one app, research it and present 3 or 4 of its features with sources." The guideline and research guide shows how to write a good one.
If your topic is in health, finance or law, the form shows a note: Sam avoids definitive claims and advice in these areas and adds a short disclaimer, but you should still check every video before publishing.
Step 3: Video
The same options as the Long video tab: length, format (talking only, or talking plus cutaways), talk and visual balance, Economy or Premium, aspect ratio, subtitles and exclusions. Length and tier decide each video's token cost, and the plan rules are the same: over 30 seconds or Premium needs Basic, over one minute needs Pro.
Step 4: Template
Choose how the videos are told. There are eight narrative patterns: Explainer, Tips (three short, practical tips), Story, True or false (tests a common belief against sources), News (a recent development in your field), Showcase (3 or 4 features of a product or app), How-to (step by step) and Q&A.
- Vary automatically: Sam picks a different pattern each time and rotates music, location and outfit too.
- Fixed: every video uses the pattern, music and location you choose.
You can also turn on an end card with your brand name and link.
Step 5: Frequency
Choose "per day" (one to three videos at set times every day) or "per week" (on the days you pick), and the time zone. The limit is 21 videos a week. The form shows how many videos that means per week and per month.
Step 6: Approval and budget
Approval: "Show me first" is the default. Sam prepares the topic, script, storyboard and sources, and the video is made only after you approve it; if you do not approve within 7 days, that video is skipped. "Fully automatic" makes and delivers videos without waiting. If you choose it, still check content before publishing.
Monthly token limit is required. The automation never spends more than this in a month; when it reaches the cap it stops, tells you, and continues on its own in the new month. The form suggests a cap from the estimated monthly cost.
Tick "Email me finished videos" to receive each video by email with a download link valid for 7 days.
Step 7: Auto top-up
Decide what happens when your balance is not enough. "Ask me" is the default: the automation waits and you get an email and an in-app notice. You can instead let a token pack be bought automatically with your saved card, within limits you set. This is explained in the budget and auto top-up guide.
After you start
The first video starts at its scheduled time. The automation page shows the next video, this month's spending against the cap, and the calendar: upcoming, awaiting approval, in progress and produced videos. "Make a video now" starts a run without waiting for the schedule; your approval setting still applies. You can pause, continue, edit or delete an automation at any time. Deleting cancels planned videos; videos already made stay in your library.
Frequently asked
Does automation post to my social accounts? No. Videos are delivered to your library and, if you choose, by email with a caption and hashtag suggestions. You download them and publish them yourself.
Is there a fee for automation? No separate fee or subscription. You pay only the normal token cost of the research, storyboard, images and video it produces.
What if several videos are waiting for my approval? When three or more videos are waiting, new scheduled runs are skipped until you approve or skip the waiting ones, so tokens are not spent on videos you may not want.
