Some ideas need more than one person: a friend reacting to a product, a host and a guest, a before-and-after told by two people. In AI Influencer Studio, scene videos can include up to three characters, each keeping its own face and look. This guide shows how to set up a multi-character scene and how to get the best results.
Which characters can I use?
Any influencer you created and any other character in your Characters library, including characters from Film Studio. You can mix types, for example a photorealistic person with a 3D animated character or an animal humanoid. Every character in the studio is an adult.
Step by step
- Open the Video tab and choose Scene video.
- Pick a scene from the library of 57 scenes in 10 categories. Scenes with people interacting, such as a coffee chat, a reaction, a podcast clip or a product review, suit several characters well.
- Add the cast: up to three characters.
- Give each character a short role, for example "explains the product", "listens and laughs" or "tries it for the first time". Roles tell the studio who does what.
- Optionally choose an outfit and location for your characters, add product images and write extra direction such as the light or a prop.
- Choose the speech option, the tier and the length (5 or 10 seconds), check the price and start.
Why does adding characters reduce product images?
Each character goes in with its own reference images so that its identity holds, and a scene can carry a limited number of references in total. The more characters you add, the fewer product images fit; with three characters there is room for one product image. The form shows the remaining slots as you add characters. A screenshot shown on a device also uses one of these slots.
Can each character speak?
Yes, with voice-over. Each character can have its own line, spoken in the voice and language saved with that character, so a Turkish host and an English guest can each speak their own language. Lip sync, where the mouth follows the words on camera, works with one character and one line; for that, use a single-character scene or a talking video.
Tips for better multi-character scenes
- Keep roles simple and visible: one clear action per character works better than a complicated plot in five seconds.
- Choose characters that look clearly different (hair, outfit, colours). It helps viewers, and it helps the studio keep them apart.
- Use 10 seconds when two characters each have a line; five seconds is short for two speakers.
- If the product matters most, use two characters and keep more product slots.
- Save variants of the same idea: one with the product, one without, and compare.
What does it cost?
A multi-character scene costs the same as a single-character scene: the price of Film Studio's character video for the chosen tier and length. For example a 5-second Draft scene has a base price of 122,501 tokens, which is 98,001 tokens on Pro. Voice-over adds the speech fee per 100 characters of each line (base 2,334 tokens). Your plan multiplier applies, the price is shown before you start and failed jobs are refunded.
Limits
- Up to three characters, and only in scene videos.
- Recreating a video with your character replaces one person, the most prominent one. If you select several characters there, the first is used.
- Lip sync and talking videos use one character.
- Characters are always adults; roles or lines that suggest someone under 18 are refused.
Frequently asked
Can I put my own photo-based influencer next to a fictional one? Yes. An influencer made from your own photo (Basic and Pro) can share a scene with any other character in your library.
Do the characters keep their saved voices? Yes. In voice-over each character speaks with its own saved voice and language; there is no voice picker in the Video tab.
Can I make longer videos with several characters? The Long video tab presents one character. For several characters, make scene videos and combine them in your editor.
