The quickest way to a well-defined character is to describe it in your own words. In the Create tab of AI Influencer Studio, the "Describe your character with Sam" box turns a paragraph into a structured profile: the option groups, a capsule wardrobe, recurring places, a color palette and the personality notes that later shape the videos.
What should I write?
Write the way you would brief a casting director. Useful details are age, look, hair, distinctive marks, clothing style, the places the character spends time in, colors and personality. Here is the example we used while building the studio:
Lena Aras, 29, an independent product designer in Istanbul who went freelance after agency burnout. Calm, clear, dry humor, keeps her distance from hustle culture. Natural look, little makeup, shoulder-length dark brown hair, simple glasses (not always, a signature detail); "approachable and smart". Places: a sunny work corner with a light wooden desk, a plant, one monitor and a good keyboard; sometimes a coffee shop, the Moda seaside, the ferry. Palette: off-white, sand, sage green, terracotta accent. Clothing: a 5–6 piece capsule wardrobe.
What does Sam do with it?
For that paragraph Sam filled in eight option groups: female, Adult (from "29"), shoulder-length hair, dark brown hair, natural makeup, minimal style, and glasses marked "Sometimes". It did not choose an eye color, skin color or build, because the text says nothing about them. That is the rule: Sam only maps what you state or clearly imply and never invents the rest.
The profile part was filled as well:
- A capsule wardrobe of six separate pieces, among them an off-white linen shirt, high-waisted sand trousers, a sage green knit, a white T-shirt, and a terracotta cardigan and a beige trench coat marked as occasional.
- Four places: the sunlit work corner, a quiet coffee shop, the Moda seaside promenade and a Bosphorus ferry deck.
- A palette of four colors with codes: off-white #F5F1E8, sand #D8C3A5, sage green #9CAF88 and terracotta #C8644A.
- A short bio and the tone (calm, clear, dry humor). Details that fit no option, such as "approachable and smart", go into free notes and are still used when the images are made.
Everything Sam chose is marked "Picked by Sam" on the form. Change any choice, remove a wardrobe piece or add a place before you create; the form is yours.
Does it work in other languages?
Yes. You can write in Turkish, English, German, French, Spanish or Italian. The names and descriptions in the profile stay in your language, and Sam adds a short English description of each wardrobe piece and place that the image step uses.
What does it cost?
Sam's reading is charged by actual use. Before you press the button the form shows an estimate (roughly twenty thousand tokens on Basic, less on Pro); the estimate is taken up front and anything Sam does not use is refunded straight away. The images are a separate step with their own price, shown in the summary panel before you create. See the create guide for image prices.
How is the profile used later?
The profile travels with the character. In the Video tab you can dress the character in one of the wardrobe looks, put the scene in one of the places, and the palette and tone are added to the scene direction automatically. That is how a character who is "calm, with dry humor" stays calm in every clip.
Frequently asked
Will Sam make up details I did not give? No. Option groups you do not mention are left empty and the studio fills them in a way that fits the rest when the images are made.
Can I describe a real celebrity? No. Descriptions that ask Sam to imitate a named, well-known person are refused, and so are descriptions of anyone under 18. The tokens for a refused request are returned.
Is the Sam step required? No. You can skip it and pick the options yourself, or use Sam and then change everything by hand.
What happens to the wardrobe pieces? When you create the character you choose up to three wardrobe looks; each becomes an outfit variant you can pick in later videos.
