An influencer built from your own face is personal. This page describes what AI Influencer Studio actually does with your photo and your videos, and what it refuses to do. It describes how the product works; it is not a legal document.

Who can use a photo?

Creating an influencer from a real photo is available on Basic and Pro. Choosing options or describing a character to Sam works on every plan; those characters are fully original.

What do I agree to?

Before the upload button works you tick a box: "The person in this photo is me, or I have their explicit permission; the person is over 18." Uploading your own video has a similar box: you have the right to use the video and the people in it agreed. The time of your confirmation is recorded with the upload.

What is checked automatically?

Every photo and every uploaded video goes through a safety check before it can be used. For a video, three frames are checked (start, middle and end). The check looks for:

  • Exactly one clear face in a photo, and at least one clear person in a video.
  • Anyone who appears to be under 18. When in doubt the answer is no.
  • Strong signs of a well-known person: red-carpet or stage backdrops, press or agency watermarks, magazine covers, name captions and similar.
  • Nudity, sexual content or graphic violence.

A rejected photo is deleted immediately and nothing is charged. The generation services we use also apply their own safety filters; if they stop a job, it fails and the tokens are refunded.

The check does not compare faces with a database of famous people. It relies on the signs in the picture, on your confirmation and on the reporting and moderation described below.

Are characters always adults?

Yes. The age options are Adult, Mature and Senior. Descriptions that suggest someone under 18 are refused in all six languages, both in the form and by Sam, and Sam also refuses to imitate a named, well-known person.

Where does my photo go?

  • It is stored as a private file, not as a public link, and it is not added to your media library.
  • It is read only when your own influencer is created.
  • It never appears on The Wall or in the Explore tab, and "Recreate" on someone else's sample copies settings only, never a photo.
  • Influencers made from a photo are not shown in Explore at all.
  • When you delete the influencer, the photo file is deleted too (unless a variant of that influencer still uses it).

What about the videos I generate?

Results are saved to your library and stay private unless you share them. Sharing to The Wall is a request: a moderator reviews it before anything is published. Every community item in Explore has a "Report this content" button, and reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

Frequently asked

Can I use a photo of a friend? Only with their explicit permission and only if they are an adult. You confirm both before uploading.

Why was my photo rejected when it is really me? Common reasons are more than one face, a face that is too small or unclear, or a picture with event or press backdrops. Try a simple, well-lit photo of your face alone.

Can other users see or reuse my photo? No. The photo is used only for your own jobs and is never shown to anyone else.

How long is a checked photo valid? Seven days. After that, upload it again; the check is repeated.
