We added an optional “Avoid” field to the creation forms in Yeşilçam Studios. You list what you don’t want to see in the result, such as text, watermarks, blur, extra fingers or a cluttered background, separated by commas. Leave the field empty and it is skipped; generation works exactly as before.
The industry calls this kind of field a negative prompt. We explain the concept and how to write a good one in the negative prompt article, and how the field works studio by studio in the Avoid field guide.
Why did we add it?
The request we heard most often was: “I wrote what I didn’t want in the prompt, and it showed up anyway.” Adding “no text” to the main prompt often backfires; a word that appears in the prompt can tend to appear in the result. Collecting unwanted elements in a separate field is tidier for you, and it lets generation treat them as constraints.
We deliberately made the field optional and collapsed by default. When closed, only the “Avoid (optional)” button shows; once you enter something, a badge shows how many items you listed.
Where do you find it?
- Image Studio: under the main prompt, for templates and free creation.
- Film Studio: the Create screen, video templates, Assemble / Disassemble, Website Promo, Story to film and the character bible.
- Animation Studio: style forms, the character editor and Custom.
- Design Studio and Website Studio: in the new design and new site forms; in Design Studio also in the editor’s Improve with Sam panel.
- Fashion Try-On: in the model form.
Tips for a good list
- Write concrete items: instead of “bad look”, write “blurry background, extra fingers, text”.
- Keep it short. The field takes up to 500 characters, but three to five items are usually enough.
- Don’t contradict the main prompt: asking for “a red dress” and putting “red” in the Avoid field confuses the result.
- If you reuse the same list, keep a note of it; it works the same way in every form.
To be honest: a negative prompt is a strong steer, not a firm guarantee. Its effect is clearer in some kinds of generation and weaker in others. If an item still appears, simplifying the prompt itself or covering the point with a positive phrase in the main prompt (such as “plain cream background”) often works better.
Does it cost anything?
The field itself adds no separate line to the quote; the price of the generation appears in the quote as usual. For plans and multipliers, see the pricing page. Image Studio is a good place to try the field right away.
Frequently asked
What happens if I leave the field empty? Nothing changes. An empty field is skipped and generation works as before.
Can I write in my own language? Yes. You can fill in the field in your interface language.
How much can I write? The field takes up to 500 characters. Just separate the items with commas.
What should I do if an unwanted element still appears? Simplify the main prompt and describe what you do want in positive terms. A negative prompt is a strong steer but cannot guarantee the result in every generation.
